RE: ENERGY STAR, Fort Collins Efficiency Works, and Ohm Connect's #OhmHour Program Earn Landmark…

The annual Landmark peer-selection process organized by Tools of Change has designated three additional programs that promote energy conservation behaviors. (1) ENERGY STAR is one of the most effective public sector voluntary behavior change programs in U.S. history, saving more than three trillion kWh. (2) Fort Collins Efficiency Works streamlined home audit and upgrade program doubled both enrollment rates and average savings. (3) Ohm Connects #OhmHour Program pays program participants to reduce their energy at peak times, with average savings of 100-200 kWh at peak times per year per household. Tools of Change's peer selection process recognizes behavioral programs and approaches considered to be among the most successful in the world, based on impact, innovation, replicability and adaptability.
